12-Year-Old Grace VanderWaal Wows the Crowd Again

The 12-year-old ukulele-playing singer who is wowing the crowd and judges of NBC’s America’s Got Talent, returned to the show’s stage last night.
Grace VanderWaal, of Suffern, New York, performed her song, “Beautiful Thing,” live in front of the panel of judges, which includes Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, former Spice Girl Mel B, and Simon Cowell. VanderWaal appeared nervous during her song, but she delivered an emotional performance, receiving a standing ovation from all four judges.

It comes a few weeks after she performed her song “I Don’t Know My Name,” during her audition. The two-minute song earned her massive accolades, including Cowell saying she may be “the next Taylor Swift,” and led to her becoming a viral sensation.
