To many banjo-ukulele enthusiasts, the late British entertainer George Formby is the king who sits on throne.

Multi-instrumentalist Andy Eastwood is one of the biggest banner-bearers of Formby’s legacy and he’s one of the people to check-in with to learn more about Formby. In this six-minute video, Eastwood takes us on an in-depth look at two George Formby’s personal banjo-ukuleles, including a Dallas Special Model E and a Gibson UB-3, now owned by the family of a Formby impersonator.

Even if you’re not a mega-fan, Eastwood’s playing on these clips is fantastic and worth a peek.
