Cordoba Unveils New Ukulele Line
With the ukulele boom showing few signs of slowing down, Cordoba, the California-based maker of acoustic guitars and ukuleles, has debuted the release of a new line of ukes.
“The 23 Series ukuleles are available in soprano, concert, tenor, tenor cutaway-electric, and baritone sizes. Each features a solid ovangkol top paired with ovangkol back and sides, rosewood bridge and fingerboard, mahogany neck, and ovangkol headstock veneer,” the company said in a press release.

Ovangkol, which is used by several ukulele manufactures, is an exotic wood that is similar in tone to rosewood.
The street prices for the new models range from $199 for the soprano to $249 for the baritone.
