Funky Frets Uke Fest
October 3–6 | Boyertown, Pennsylvania
With a focus on fun and learning, this festival offers a diverse array of workshops, jam sessions, open mics, and opportunities to connect with like-minded players. What sets it apart is its inclusive atmosphere, where both repeat attendees and newcomers feel equally welcomed and valued. Artists include Jim Beloff, Peter Moss, Glen Hirabayashi, Isaac Ho’opi’i, Irv Queja, Curt Sheller, Jack Kohler, Debi Velasco, Uncle Zac, Jodi Damon, Laura Wootton, William Ernestburg, and more.
Reno Ukulele Festival
October 9–12 | Reno, Nevada
The 16th annual four-day family-friendly event includes daily workshops, evening concerts, open mics, community performances, and an extensive shopping experience. Artists and teachers include Daniel Ho, Viggy Kolansinski, Neal Chin, Ukulenny, Avery Hill, Jim D’Ville, Ben Hassenger, Perry Stauffer and Dani Joy. There is also a grand finale with a Bandscramble showcase featuring the talents of the participants, as well as spontaneous jams taking place from 9 PM to midnight in the festival hallways.
Virginia Ukapalooza 2024
November 1–2 | Richmond, Virginia
Two-day event featuring workshops, jams, and performances from artists and community groups. Lineup includes Danielle Ate The Sandwich, Ray Cygrymus (Surfnrz), Caroline Scruggs, Truetone Honeys, Au Fromage, The Barn Owls, and multiple community groups.
Great Minnesota Ukulele Gathering
November 8–9 | Plymouth, Minnesota
A get-together for all area bluegrass and ukulele players with workshops, jams, singalongs, food, lodging. Open to all skill levels, with beginner ukulele lessons provided. The Great Minnesota Uke Gathering is part of the Minnesota Fall Bluegrass Festival. Featured artists this year include: Aaron Keim, Del Rey, Dale and Brenda Moe, THUG Ensemble.

Join the Rocky Mountain Ukulele Orchestra for a daily lesson. Topics and levels will vary—many are beginner friendly, some will be “hard as heck.”

Cali Rose & The CC Strummers Beginners Class
Mondays at 3:30 pm
Cali Rose & The CC Strummers are now online and players of all ages, living near and far, are invited to join us. Our Beginners Class is every Monday. We play easier songs and Cali gives more instruction about the basic fundamentals. 3:30–4:30 pm.

Kanikapila Brentwood
Mondays at 6 pm
Just like we used to do in our yards, basements or garages, we improvise and teach each other along the way on Zoom. We take turns leading our favorite Hawaiian meles, while learning about the history and meaning of the songs we sing. All our music is Hawaiian music.

Song sheets on screen with chord boxes for G-C-E-A tuning, some beginner songs, some advanced. Pop songs, classic rock, 80s. A few tips and tricks along the way. Free to participate online via Zoom.

Virus-Free Ukulele Open Mic
Wednesdays at 6:30–8 pm
A weekly Open Mic allowing folks to perform a song of their choice to an accepting and appreciative audience as well as lead a song for the group. All levels welcome and participation to perform or lead is optional. We are having great fun!

RUM (Richmond Ukulele Mayhem)
