Ukulele Album of the Year Nominees Announced

The nominees for the Na Hoku Hanohano awards were announced April 15, with five nominees in the the category for Best Ukulele Performance. The Na Hoku Hanohano awards are from the Hawaii Academy of Recording Arts and are a big honor in the Hawaiian music community.
The ukulele album of the year nominees for best ukulele performance are:
Da Ukulele Boyz, Jus Cuz, Ukulele Duets

Bryan Tolentino & Herb Ohta Jr, Ukulele Friends
Taimane Gardener, We Are Made of Stars
Jake Shimaburkuro was also nominated in the instrumental composition category for the title track to his Travel album.
