Thanks to another show-stopping performance, a 12-year-old singer-songwriter-ukulelelist heads to the finals of a popular talent show.

With her Luna Uke Tattoo Concert and a small band backing her, Grace VanderWaal debuted a new song, “Light the Sky” on the August 30 episode of AGT and was named a finalist on the next night’s show.

For this performance, a cellist and a percussionist joined the Suffern, New York native, who was always solo before this most recent show.
