May the Fourth Be With Uke

By Greg Olwell

Star Wars fans everywhere celebrate May 4 as special holiday. Say “May the 4th be with you” out loud and you’ll see why these pun-loving fans picked today as the day to celebrate their love for a story that happened long ago, in a galaxy far, far away.

Given the internet’s seemingly bottomless love for all things Star Wars, it’s no surprise that there are more videos of people playing ukulele versions of songs from Star Wars then there are theories about who Rey’s parents are. But this clip of the Benny Goodman-esque “Cantina Theme” is one of our favorites.

Which Star Wars song would you like to see transcribed in the magazine?

P.S. Han shot first!
