Congrats to Ennio Morricone on His Oscar Win: Watch Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain Perform ‘The Good, the Bad and the Ugly’

One of last night’s Oscar highlights was famed Italian composer Ennio Morricone winning best original score for The Hateful Eight. At 87, Morricone is the oldest Oscar winner ever—a fact confirmed today by the Academy—and, surprisingly, this is his first competitive Oscar win.

Morricone has been nominated five other times and has one honorary Oscar. Among his 500 film and TV scores, some of the most iconic music he created was for Sergio Leone’s Dollars Trilogy.
