Aloha makes its way across the Atlantic Ocean all the way to Spain thanks to Daniel Ho and classical guitarist Pepe Romero’s new album Aloha España. Both play instruments made by Romero’s son, luthier Pepe Romero Jr.

Learn a more about this classical-guitar-meets-ukulele union in the above video, “The Story of Pepe Romero Guitar & Ukulele,” shot at NAMM 2016 by our friends at Hawaii Music Supply. The video features Pepe Romero playing “Espanoletn” on a spruce maple guilele and Daniel Ho performing “Amis Rondo” on a cedar-maple tenor ukulele, both made by Romero Jr.
