Ukulenny Demos the New Kala Salt & Pepper Doghair Elite Mahogany Tenor at NAMM 2017

One of Kala’s exciting debuts for 2017 is a dramatic new finish available on the Elite line’s mahogany tenor.
The new Kala Elite Salt & Pepper Doghair Tenor is a tribute to a recent Collings guitar that featured a similar finish, created by covering the body with a colored spray and filling the body and neck’s mahogany pores with light-colored filler. Each of Kala’s Elite ukuleles are made in the company’s Petaluma, California workshop. (Click here for an exclusive inside look at the Elite shop.)
San Francisco Bay Area ukulele player and teacher Lenny “Ukulenny” San Jose demos the Doghair with a medley of tunes, while Kala product manager Ryan Haugh details the model’s unique features.
