I always look forward to my next issue
I’m such a wannabe musician. Strumming & singing is such good medicine for a distraught world. I’ve given two ukuleles to nieces in order to spread ukulele love. I wonder who else could benefit from this giveaway! Thanks.
I am struggling
Learning how to play.
I want to bring Peace were ever I go by playing and singing but need one on one help.

Thanks
Just got my first issue in Germany and I am delighted (except my 87-year-old eyes would like a larger font).
I’ve been playing for 2 1/2 years and love it all! I wonder why I waited to start until I turned 75.
I am 85 yrs. old and wanting to master my tenor ukulele. I love finger picking and I plan on making my ukulele SING!!!!! Never too old as the saying goes!
The ukulele magazine is where I get the latest ukuleles information
The last one was the review of the Danni Harrison Fender Ukulele I had to have one now have 8 different ukuleles one is never enough
At the time I was living in Oz and I told all my friends about the magazine and now back in the uk the group I play with have some of my older copies
You are never too old to have fun and play the ukulele
Have you noticed that when you pick up a ukulele everyone smiles
Keep well everyone
Jacqueline
Thanks = Great looking ukuleles
Just got the latest issue, and it looks jam-packed full of great stuff. As always!
Love the ukulele. Played guitar back in high school and took up ukulele after I retired. Love the size and love the sound. Easy transition from guitar. Chords formations are the same just different names.
It’s always a great day when my Ukulele Magazine shows up in the mailbox. I started lessons at age 76 so you are never too old to start. I play with a group and have a great time and I’m holding my own. I just love this instrument.
I learned to play without any lessons. I’ve been playing for about 6 years. I play for about 1hour in the morning and the same in the evening. I enjoy playing the Kala KOA Ukulele.
Thanks for this amazing giveaway. How exciting for whoever wins!
Awesome
I’ve played guitar for 65 years. But getting into uke has been more than fun. When I play for our weekly prayer service, my Uke, an 8-string, is the preferred instrument.
When I moved into my retirement community last year, I was delighted to see that there was a small but enthusiastic group of ukulele players, nearly all just learning an instrument for the first time. Unfortunately, the ukes they were playing were not very good — poor tone, not holding tuning, etc. Nevertheless, they are keeping up the effort and recently participated in the Play Music on the Porch Day.
Aloha e Cynthia! Nice to see you here!
Just learning the ukulele, started in April 2026. My kumu retired, took awhile to find a new kumu. Have had 2 lessons with my new kumu and loving it! Hope to win the contest so I can have a new ukulele to play! Love the artistic touch. Please enter me in the contest!
I bought a Kala baritone that has great sound a year ago and am making slow progress for an older person re-learning how to play. The article about inversions left me baffled. If I win I will donate the pair to a local school or other organization for kids.
I have been a subscriber since 2022, I think. Love reading each issue. I am especially enjoying the current issue, which has two articles about ‘ukulele history. I can nerd out on that and Hawaiian history. I have played ‘ukulele since 2012, having migrated from guitar, which I played since I was a teen. You can find my videos on YouTube at Roo on Uke–I love sharing my music through this, open mics, and gigs. I have now ventured into songwriting
How generous!
This magazine is such a great resource for us uke-sters.
I need a new uke!
I need a better uke!
I need a better uke.
Hoping to get sisters to join me in learning the joy of playing music. It’s a gift we can give ourselves ❤️ thank you!
I have 13 guitars, 5 ukes and 1 mandolin. I play them all the same; rarely and poorly. But I love them all as they hang on the man-cave wall as my favorite artwork!
